David Marks, Chair
I have lived in Hastings for 7 years. I am a retired solicitor. I am a member of 2 local choirs and a book group. I provide telephone advice and support on a voluntary basis for an advice agency. I am also a volunteer for the Mallydams RSPCA Wildlife Centre. I enjoy walking, gardening, reading and opera. Our very energetic lurcher dog keeps me well exercised!

I live in Hastings with my two children, both of whom have loved their time at Dudley. I work locally in housing development and have previously been involved in a range of housing and homelessness related policy roles in Hastings. Together with my children, I enjoy taking advantage of all that Hastings has to offer, in particular the beaches, parks and festivals. I run throughout the year, but often not as frequently or as far as planned...
Danny Saxby - Parent Governor
I grew up in Hastings and attended Dudley Infants in the early 1990’s before going onto what was then Hillcrest Secondary School. I have an MA in Politics from the University of Leeds and after spending several years working in the events industry in London I now work for Hastings Borough Council. I live in Hastings with my two young children, one of whom attends Dudley, and my wife who is part of the leadership team of another local primary academy. I believe passionately that every child should be able to reach their full potential in their school career, and I have a particular interest in improving support for autistic pupils. When I can find the time I enjoy playing guitar, gardening and reading about history and politics.
